Intro and Site Info

The DEMO Project is an effort by Greg Marchant (DEMO) to expand upon his song writing and recording efforts.

The first project involved a collaboration with two old friends from Mishawaka, Indiana. Greg Marchant (DEMO), who hadn't played much since focusing on research and teaching as a professor, began recording music when he retired. He was joined by two true musicians, Craig Schroeder and Charley Neises to record the progressive rock album, Finally (available here). Craig and Charley are now focusing on other music projects. Craig plays with The Whateverly Brother in the Michiana area, and Charley has returned to recording with Doug Cowen and the Basics.

Greg's  new project involves revisiting old original songs and creating new ones with the music remix with A.I. (mostly to get decent vocals). The biggest challenge in working with Artificial Intelligence is maintaining creative integrity. The DEMO Project will create new music remixed by A.I,. not the exclusive product of A.I..
